The creation around us, the stars, the oceans, the mountains, endless sky, the expanse of planet earth and the sheer magnitude of the galaxies which surround us, the diverse life forms which fill this earth raise these questions (amongst many) in one's mind, " who are we, where have we come from, what are we doing here, how was everthing created, who created us, why do we live and die, is there a supreme power which governs us?
An accepted fact is that all the creation was not done by any human being. Human beings cannot even explain their own existance let alone being able to do creation at the scale of what we see around ourselves. This leaves no chance for any other life form to be capable of creating the mountains and the skies. Hence it leads us to believe in a superior force which did all this creation. After all, someone did create and give rise to the multiverses that we are a part of. That invisible force or the unknown power is the one attributed to as the creator or the Supreme God. However, People still carry doubts and question, "is there a Creator", and if so, who is this Supreme God who created us and everything around us?
Some people believe that this creation has no creator. In other words they believe there is no Supreme God, and life and death is perpetual. Many other believe that this life is all about enjoyment. Bhagavad Gita chapter 16 describes the characteristics of individuals with noble and demoniac nature. In particular Gita Chapter 16 Verse 8 mentions that people of demoniac nature say that the world is baseless, unreal and without God, and that the world is self-generated (by union of male-female). Only sex is its cause. Bhagavad Gita castigates such people in further verses of chapter 16 and says that these type of people are dim-witted, disgraceful souls born for the destruction of the world.
